The Roosevelt Site Council develops and approves the school strategic plan and works to improve our school. The council is a clearinghouse for ideas, questions, and problems that arise. Members serve as advisors, decision makers, and planners, depending on the issue.
The membership consists of four parents, five teachers, one classified employee, and our principal. Except for the principal, all members are elected by their peers to serve a two-year term. Meetings are held at the Roosevelt library on the second Tuesday of each month from 7:45-8:30 a.m. Parents, staff, or community members wishing to formally address the Site Council on a specific matter should request to be put on the agenda for the next meeting. Agenda items need to be given to Steve Morse by the Friday before the meeting. All meetings are open and we encourage you to attend!
