Unit 1 – Numbers to Five & Ten

Color Game – Sort objects by color.

Counting Fish – Count the fish and click on the corresponding number.

Five Frame – Compose and decompose numbers to 5 using a five frame.

Gingerbread Men – Count and order with gingerbread men. Select “view fullscreen” for use during whole group instruction.

Maths Ladybirds – Count and order with ladybugs. Select “view fullscreen” for use during whole group instruction.

Ten Frame – Compose and decompose numbers to 10 on a ten frame.

Raceway Number Values Junior – Compare dots and insert the correct symbol: <, >, =. After each level, players compete in a very short bonus (driving) activity.

Sesame Street Name That Number – Big Bird asks viewer to click on a number (1-10) and then counts with objects. Use at home to increase number recognition skills.

Ten Frame – Compose and decompose numbers to 10 on a ten frame.

Fish Counting – Count by 2s to select the fish that comes next.

Saucer Sorter – Count numbers in any sequence (count by 2s, 5s, and more) up to 200. The teacher tool allows you to cover numbers or move numbers around in a given sequence.

Shapes – Students read a shape name and select the picture with that shape. (For prereaders, this might be a teacher-led, whole group activity.)
